Artist Information
Art Education: Polly as been most fortunate to study with a host of fine teachers. She studied sculpture with Merrill Gage and watercolor with Millard Sheets at Choinard School of Art; sketching and oil with Elaine Farley at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California; and with well known Monterey Peninsula artists, Sam Colburn, George De Groat, Anita De Carlo, Nancy Johnson and Clarence Bates, refining her technique in watercolor and oil.

Exhibitions: Polly's watercolor and oil paintings have been exhibited at the Carmel Foundation, Sunset Center, the Monterey County Fair, the Monterey Museum of Art's Festival of Trees, the Carmel Valley Manor, Del Mesa Carmel, the Highlands Inn, Carmel, the Pebble Beach Post Office, the Thunderbird Book Store, Carmel and juried shows, sponsored by the Monterey Museum of Art and the Central Coast Art Association.

Polly has served on the board of the Monterey Museum of Art; was a co-founder, board member and past president of the The Jesters, a fun-fund-raising museum auxiliary; was a set decorator and cast member for two "way off Broadway" fund-raising shows for the Monterey County Symphony; board member for the Central Coast Art Association and is a member of the Peninsula Art Foundation, Cannery Row, Monterey, California
