"I have always loved watercolor from the first class in college. It was an immediate fit. Watercolor gives spontaneous and immediate results, and working quickly is suitable to my nature. Watercolor is technically and intellectually challenging, due to its unpredictable, elusive nature and holds the elment of surpise. Boring is never used to describe watercolor. I feel watercolor should sparkle, and be as fresh, bright and clear in color, using as few strokes as possible. It is very easy to overwork watercolor and then it loses its life."
