| "I love to paint vibrant flowers, old funky chairs, luscious fruit and veggies and scenes around Lake Tahoe. I try to capture light, color, and shadows with my watercolors and sometimes movement when the flowers are dancing gently in an afternoon breeze or the wind is rustling through the trees." |

Carol and her husband, Jon, live in Sunnyvale, California and spend weekends and summers at Lake Tahoe. They enjoy traveling and sailing and have spent several years living aboard a sailboat cruising in the Caribbean. Their travels and adventures provide many wonderful subjects and opportunities for painting and sketching. Carol began watercolor painting for her own pleasure and for family and friends. She enjoys painting when they are traveling as well as in her home studio and around Lake Tahoe. She has taught elementary students for many years and especially enjoyed teaching art in a variety of mediums.
