"My relationship to art is about transformation. My inspirations are a witnessing of transformation. I am often drawn to weathered, aged, even ravaged objects. They suggest to me hidden beauty, dimension, evocative shapes, a mysterious past, and draw me in and stimulate my imagination. These seasoned surfaces also symbolize for me evolving consciousness: uncovering, shedding layers, until the core is revealed."
